Who Is Sarah?
Hi there! I’m Sarah, passionate about changing the paradigm of gut health. I’m dedicated to helping you overcome your gut issues so that you can live your life to the fullest.
This passion comes from my own personal journey with gut problems. From around my mid-teenage years, I started to become quite unwell. I was underweight, often sick, my stomach was reacting to basically everything and I was constantly fatigued. Things continued to get worse as I got into my early twenties, and it was at the point where I was regularly going home from work and isolating myself because of it all. I was even hospitalised at one stage but no one ever knew what the problem was.
I was eventually diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2012, and eliminating gluten did change my life. After a few months I had much more energy, I was at a healthy weight and my confidence was up.
But then things plateaued. Yes, I had improved, but I still had lots of gut symptoms, and my emotional state was all over the place.
What I wouldn't learn until much later is that simply eliminating gluten alone is not enough to manage coeliac disease. I discovered this through my studies. I hadn't done any gut healing work, I hadn't thought about other foods that might be aggravating the gut and I also hadn't built my nutritional status back up. I also wasn't doing any maintenance that is needed in coeliac disease, including assisting with digestion and monitoring nutritional stores.
The other piece to the puzzle is, of course, emotions. We all know that stress is a trigger for gut flare ups - but there's no education on how to manage the stress, what stress really is and how you heal from stress.
It wasn’t until I went on a deep healing journey to address the stress that I was under, including my damaging thought patterns, that things finally changed for me. I finally was able to cut through all the confusion and tune into my body to give it what it loves and needs. As a result, my gut symptoms went down, my energy stabilised and I felt much more calm and clear.
It's a horrible position to be in when things seem to be getting worse and worse and no one ever knows why. Or the advice is to 'just live with it'.
I know that this is the case for so many people, especially when it comes to the gut, and this is what I want to change with my work.
My background, studies and personal healing experiences have put me in a unique position to facilitate gut healing from a broad range of perspectives.
I’ve now designed specific methodologies and systems which have been developed over my 10+ years combined personal and clinical experience with the gut, and I teach these to clients both locally and globally.
The way I work is tailored, holistic, targeted and addresses all factors that cause you to suffer from gut issues so you can heal and feel truly well from the inside out.
I’m a bit like a personal detective – I’m there to help you piece together what’s going on, why, and to help you find the solutions.
We start with a thorough discussion about your specific situation and putting together a plan. Initially, it’s all about investigating, getting answers and bringing symptom relief. We then work on healing the gut by addressing the physical, emotional and environmental factors that are causing the issues. Finally, we create a strategy for you to continue with so that you have the confidence you need going forwards.
This process sets you up both now and into the future, even after we finish our work together.
It’s important to know that there is ALWAYS something we can do. There’s always hope, there’s always room for improvement and healing is always possible. Always.
Once you understand what it all means, learn to listen to your gut instincts and give yourself what you need physically and emotionally, everything else just falls into place. This enables you to leave the worry of your digestion behind so that you can instead focus on the things that matter most to you.
My work allows me to fulfil what I’m most passionate about, which is ultimately empowering people to be at their best health physically and emotionally so they can thrive in their personal and professional lives.
I am 100% committed to helping you overcome your gut issues and I’ve designed my business specifically to do that. If you share that commitment and are ready to leave your gut issues behind for good, I’d love to help you do that.
To learn more or get in touch, book in a Complimentary Connection Call and we’ll get to know each other, where you’re at, the results you’re looking for, and whether the work I do is a good fit to help you get there.
I've only been with Sarah a month, but real results are already showing. I am so glad we found each other. I'd been struggling for a long time. I felt sick all the time. I have more energy and I sleep right through the night (have not done that for years). The best thing is my stomach is not so angry anymore. I stopped passing wind (all the time with no control) and burping. Sarah is a listener. She is very knowledgeable. I recommend her to everyone! – Janet McGee, Brisbane, Australia
I was struggling to eat because every time I ate something I had to run to the bathroom. I was constantly having to duck off to the toilet during work hours which was incredibly awkward and inconvenient. I was so frustrated with not knowing what to eat. I also felt exhausted all the time. Sarah has helped me to live a normal life with regular toilet stops rather than the multitude during the day. I’m so relieved because I feel so much better, I have the energy to ride again, and I’m not running to the toilet all day. I definitely recommend working with Sarah – don’t think about it, just do it - Nathan Lancelot – Brisbane, Australia
